Frequently asked questions
Nope, as long as you are an SDSU student! Any and all majors and grade levels are invited to join us, and we are proud to be a welcoming community for all. To become a member, simply fill out our Membership Form & submit $15 cash dues.
Don't worry! Our club meetings are recorded and posted on our YouTube channel for later viewing. Also, there are plenty of other opportunities to gain points towards active membership that are not general club meetings.
We only accept cash or PayPal for club dues. PayPal accounts are free and easy to make! If this is still an issue, a friend/family member can pay on your behalf, as long as your name is noted in the comment section of the payment on PayPal.
You can do so at any time during the semester up until the point deadline, a specific date announced at the end of the semester. However, joining very late in the semester may make it harder to earn points, as opportunities can become less abundant.
Filling out the Membership Form + paying dues makes you a MEMBER.
Members who submit for and earn eight points before the deadline are considered ACTIVE MEMBERS. These individuals have demonstrated significant participation in the organization.
The Newsletter can be found under the "Current Members" tab of the website. You will receive the password for this tab via email after submitting filling out the Membership Form and submitting dues.
You can expect a confirmation email within no later than 1 week of most steps being completed, however, you will likely receive it sooner if completed towards the beginning of the semester. If you do not see one within a week, check your spam folder for an email from futureptorganizationsdsu@gmail.com -- if you still do not see it, please contact us!
