Are there any specific requirements to become a member?

Nope, as long as you are an SDSU student! Any and all majors and grade levels are invited to join us, and we are proud to be a welcoming community for all. To become a member, simply fill out our Membership Form & submit $15 cash dues.

What if I can't make club meetings?

Don't worry! Our club meetings are recorded and posted on our YouTube channel for later viewing. Also, there are plenty of other opportunities to gain points towards active membership that are not general club meetings.

Question 3

Do you take any other forms of payment for club dues?

Accepted Answer

We only accept cash or PayPal for club dues. PayPal accounts are free and easy to make! If this is still an issue, a friend/family member can pay on your behalf, as long as your name is noted in the comment section of the payment on PayPal.

Question 4

Is there a deadline to submit the Membership Form + pay dues by?

You can do so at any time during the semester up until the point deadline, a specific date announced at the end of the semester. However, joining very late in the semester may make it harder to earn points, as opportunities can become less abundant.

Question 5

What makes someone an "Active Member"?

Accepted Answer

Filling out the Membership Form + paying dues makes you a MEMBER.
Members who submit for and earn eight points before the deadline are considered ACTIVE MEMBERS. These individuals have demonstrated significant participation in the organization.

Where do I find the Newsletter?

The Newsletter can be found under the "Current Members" tab of the website. You will receive the password for this tab via email after submitting filling out the Membership Form and submitting dues.

Question 7

I just filled out the Membership Form + paid dues, when will I get a confirmation email?

Accepted Answer

You can expect a confirmation email within no later than 1 week of most steps being completed, however, you will likely receive it sooner if completed towards the beginning of the semester. If you do not see one within a week, check your spam folder for an email from futureptorganizationsdsu@gmail.com (futureptorganizationsdsu@gmail.com)-- if you still do not see it, please contact us!

I am still unsure if Physical Therapy is what I want to pursue. Can I still join?

I am part of a PT clinic looking for volunteers or staff. Can you put the opportunity out to your members?

Absolutely! We always have members looking for ways to get involved in physical therapy and love helping them get connected.
